The Walk of Britain, 2015
During 2015, Walking With The Wounded embarked on a 1000 mile walk through the UK. This endeavour was taken on by six wounded veterans from the UK and US. The logistical and operational requirements behind this project were highly complex.
Each day was essentially a mini expedition with a high degree of event management due to constant engagements with the public. Victoria was again the lead for the day to day organisation and management of the project on behalf of WWTW and again she was an important factor in determining its significant success.
There were a considerable number of moving parts to the logistical plan which needed constant review and oversight and it is fair to say that the core walking team never needed to think about the support they required. It just happened due to Victoria’s diligence and eye for detail.
