In 2010 Victoria moved to Chamonix in the French Alps at the foot of the Mt Blanc massif, to work for the Everest legend Russell Brice. Victoria met Russell whilst managing The Everest Test Cricket Match at Base Camp, and moved to Chamonix to work across his two companies – Himalayan Experience, the world’s best renowned Himalayan guiding company, and Chamonix Experience.
Victoria was recruited specifically to champion company PR, marketing and communications in the lead to an exciting period of growth for both Himalayan Experience and Chamonix Experience, and her role incorporated marketing and website development as well as guiding logistics for the Chamonix based guiding bureau, and supporting Russell ahead of his Everest expeditions.
During this time in The Alps, Victoria rapidly expanded her network of international mountain guides, mountain leaders and professional climbers, skiers and mountaineers, cementing her love for the outdoors and the world of adventure. Victoria is still in regular contact with many of the guides who she worked with in the Alps and engages with them on new projects regularly.
With this experience and local knowledge, Victoria is in the perfect position to advise on a suitable guiding teams for wider mountaineering projects and has coordinated many mountaineering challenges from Mt Blanc and the Matterhorn to K2 as she continues to utilise her ever expanding network of world class mountain guides and logistics specialists.
Victoria is hugely honoured that she was the first (and remains the only) person formally employed and entrusted to work alongside Russell with his Himalayan Experience logistics.
In 2017 Victoria was again approached by Russell regarding assisting him with HimEx logistics. Chase is in discussion at present about working to steer HimEx through another period of growth, ensuring that all vital expedition logistics remain seamless while he is away on the mountain.
